Phil Aiken is a fixture in the Boston music scene, having performed, recorded, and collaborated with dozens of local and national artists as a keyboardist—including Buddy Guy, Eddie Vedder, Buffalo Tom, Little Feat, Susan Tedeschi, and Derek Trucks.
As a solo artist, Phil's recordings and performances establish him as a thoughtful and clever singer-songwriter with influences spanning Todd Rundgren, Elvis Costello, Tom Waits, Elliott Smith, and Warren Zevon. His most recent album, Here Goes Nothing, follows the sprawling four-album set Redemption Center with sharply focused songwriting that tells you what he thinks, feels, and is annoyed about with disarming honesty.
